 Today Mr.Rease Elaborated more on some of the more unknown rhetorical devices that we may have never seen or heard of . The five new rhetorical devices we learned today we're Understatement which is less than one would normally expect , Litotes which isironic understatement in which an affirmative is expressed by the negative of its contrary , Antithesis which is  a proposition that contrasts with or reverses some previously mentioned proposition , Hypophora which is figure of speech in which a writer raises a question, and then immediately provides an answer to that question , and a Rhetorical Question is a question asked in order to create a dramatic effect or to make a point rather than to get an answer.

 One question i wish i would have asked is how challenging junior was going to be , this year kicked my a-word . This year was so stressful from working while in school , sleep schedule being all over the place , all the way to corona . Mr.rease had a really interesting course this year and I learned a lot even aside from the actual course , like being punctual and doing things the right way and in a timely manner . Thankful for this years experience it put me through a lot of adversity that I feel like I need for the future , now going in to the final year of Highschool I feel as if I’m prepared for anything .

Prompt #2

One time I definitely knew I was in trouble was when I broke my moms 1000$ vase . Me and my brother were throwing a ball around in the front room and I dove to catch it and ran into the vase . It was so crazy because I knew as soon as it happened that she was gonna kill me . I legit thought about running away and never coming back , my whole life flashed before my eyes . It was like I was watching it happen like an out of body experience . My mom eventually forgave me after a couple months but I still wished that had never happened .
